The Beatles & Paul
Win Grammys 

The Beatles and Paul were back at The Grammys, both taking home statues. The Beatles won for "Best Historical Album" for "The Beatles" The Original Recordings", while Sir Paul took home his first solo Grammy since winning for "Rocketstra Theme" from 1979's "Back to the Egg" album. Paul won a Grammy for "Best Solo Rock Performance" for his live version of "Helter Skelter".

Beatle contemporaries also won: "Imagine" won "Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals" for Herbie Hancock, Pink, Indie.Arie, Seal, Konono No. 1, Jeff Beck and Oumou Sangare. Other winners included Neil Young who won for "Best Rock Song", "Angry World"; "Best Rock Instrumental Performance" went to Jeff Beck for "Hammerhead"; Buddy Guy won "Best Contemporary Blues Album" for "Living Proof"; and "Best Long Form Music Program" went to The Doors movie hosted by Johnny Dep, "When You're Strange"
