Ladies of the Night; May Pang, Shannon and Nancy Lee Andrews
February 8, 2011, New York City - Love was in the air at the star-studded photo and art exhibit, All You Need is Love, at the National Arts Club in New York City Tuesday night. The event lasts until February 15th, and features Beatles-related artwork and photos by three women who loved the Beatles, May Pang, Shannon the Artist, and Nancy Lee Andrews.
May Pang, former girlfriend of John Lennon, signed copies of her book, Instamatic Karma, featuring photos from her time with John. Nancy Lee Andrews, Ringo Starr's former girlfriend, displayed a decade worth of her photos, which were featured in her book, A Dose of Rock-n-Roll, and Shannon, the artist who's paintings of the Beatles grace the rooms of the Hard Day's Night Hotel in Liverpool, displayed her stunning artwork. All were on hand to meet with the many enthusiastic guests and friends.
May said to us in an email, "Working with Nancy and Shannon made me realize that each of us bring our own unique perspective which becomes very powerful visually."
