Imagine a Piano

The new John Lennon "Imagine Piano" has arrived at Pritchards Pianos in Sarasota, Florida, the only Steinway dealer in Florida to get the limited production model. This particular Grand is number 7 of 25 Model M units made in the world with Lennon's " Self Portrait " artwork featured on the music desk.  It is modeled after the white Steinway Grand Piano that John gave to Yoko on her birthday in 1971 and today is still part of the décor at The Dakota. The music desk of each piano incorporates one of four different John Lennon original drawings.

Self Portrait is perhaps John Lennon's most famous drawing ... just a few marks on the page and it's unmistakably John; the very reason it was chosen by Beatle Bruncher, Dave Pritchard himself to don the beautiful selection of pianos and organs available at his music store. 

Other drawings on other limited editions available include Come Together, Grand Piano and Freda People. 

Special features of this Limited Edition series include:
• The lyrics "YOU MAY SAY I'M A DREAMER" elegantly displayed on the bass side of the rim
• The opening bars to "Imagine" printed directly on the gold plate of the piano
• A medallion on the inner rim including John Lennon's Japanese chop mark/signature (which he often used to sign his artwork) as well as the series name and number
• A replica of John Lennon's signature gracing the treble side of the fallboard
